What direct freelance mediation means
With direct freelance mediation, Digital Tribes selects a senior independent IT specialist and introduces them to you. You keep the contract relationship with the professional. We are not in between as employer or secondment agency — we arrange the match and charge a fee for that.
When does this route fit?
- You want the agreement — Legal or finance wants you to contract the specialist directly.
- Outsource matching — You lack time or network to screen senior IT freelancers yourself.
- Transparent costs — Specialist rate and mediation fee stay separate; fee amount set in intake.
How the money flows
With direct mediation it works like this:
- 1
Digital Tribes matches and introduces a senior independent specialist.
- 2

- 3
The specialist invoices you for the work delivered (your rate agreement).
- 4
Digital Tribes invoices you (or, if agreed, the specialist) a mediation fee for selection, introduction and process support.
You keep the contract relationship with the professional. We are not in between as employer or secondment agency — we arrange the match and charge a fee for that.
